This course is an empowering and practical way of learning key life skills, to combat symptoms of anxiety and low mood. Based on cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) principles.

An 8-week modular course accompanied by E-books, worksheets and videos. Regular weekly email support reminders.


Topics covered:

  • Key information on how to make the resources work for you
  • Work out what makes you feel bad and how to change things around
  • The less you do, the worse you feel. The worse you feel, the less you do. Break the cycle here
  • Stand up to negative, worrying thoughts that make you feel worse
  • Learn how to overcome low confidence
  • Learn how to tackle the problems life throws at you, one step at a time
  • Learn how to reduce unhelpful behaviours that bring you down
  • Gain control over your anger or irritability in 3 steps
  • 10 small steps to feeling fitter and happier

You don’t need a lot of experience with computers or the internet to use online CBT. They are available around the clock and are easily accessible via a computer, tablet or smartphone, wherever you are. Other advantages include:

  • suitable for anyone who doesn’t want to work face to face with a therapist
  • helpful for people who find it difficult to leave home because of agoraphobia or social anxiety
  • can be used while waiting for a referral for NHS mental health services
